About the Artist – Kade Chan
- Founding Chairman of Hong Kong Origami Academy
- Being awarded as one of the Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2020
- Started origami art in 2005 at the age of 12, with over 15 years of experience in origami teaching
- Over 300 original origami designs
- Organized more than 500 public events / exhibitions
- Collaborated with international brands such as Ferragamo, Lamborghini, and Bottega Veneta
- His first origami model, the Fiery Dragon, was published in the book Origami Worldwide by John Montroll and Brian K Webb. Instructions of the Fiery Dragon was made into a YouTube video tutorial by Tadashi Mori, with over 6,000,000 views
- Received numerous international origami awards and honors including the Eric Joisel Award from Origami Canada (2012) and the Yoshino Issei Fund from the Japan Origami Academic Society (2013)
- Collaborated with the Hong Kong Jockey Club in 2019 to create a new Guinness World Record – the largest Origami Lesson
